A friend of mine emailed me the link to No Signposts yesterday. I'm pretty sure he has the hots for her (sorry, bud, she lives 5,764 miles away from San Diego) but I have the hots for her style. Each piece by itself is so classic and simple but she manages to combine them in surprising ways. It might help that she obviously has the face and figure of a supermodel (sigh).

So I bought these sandals last week that I love love love even though they kill my feet after standing on them for 5 hours. I had been wishing and hoping for grecian sandals since spring started popping its head up around here and then my shoes broke and these were $10...it was fate. I've been noticing a lot of amazing varieties on the grecian theme kickin' around lately (more on that later) and here are a few wardrobe_remixers who are showing the sandal love these days.

Now that half my closet is gone it's much easier to see good combinations or maybe it's because I don't have as many options and it's not so overwhelming. If you need a daily pick-me up or you're feeling a little bad about yourself I would recommend signing up for the wardrobe_remix flickr group. I have never had so many sweet people say so many nice things! One of the rules of the group is you can only make positive comments. There is no "You actually wore that out!!!??" comments. I love it. Of course, now I can't go to work looking like a frumpy, old lady like I usually do and I have to straight iron my bangs but it's worth it! One of my new fashionista favs is hermsprong. Not only does she have something nice to say for everyone but I am always amazed by her fantastic and witty combinations. Plus girl knows how to dress weather-appropriate!

I woke up 45 minutes late this morning. I just kept hitting the snooze while I was far away in dreamland. And I had NOTHING prepared in terms of clothing. My clean laundry is all over my floor right now because I have had no time to put anything away. And it's too much of a task to pick an outfit out the night before apparently. I may not be 17 but I thought I would start my own collection on w_r (lowercase, I remembered!) anyway. Saturday and today's outfits below. I gave away a box full of clothes over the weekend. I have the most severe case of packratitis and have some (ok most) of the same clothes I wore my freshman year of college (I graduate almost 5 years ago!). My wardrobe is in dire need of a remix itself and hopefully with the help of Jovovich-Hawk for Target and vintage etsy stores we can make that happen!

We have a Wardrobe Remix tie today. I'm inspired by both these lovely ladies' colorful, vintage, and thrifty arrangements. I think I need a stylist because I just look like a bum when I try to pair vintage dresses with tights and leg warmers and boots and belts and sweaters and scarfs and... but these two make it work.
