Remember last Friday when I mentioned illustrations? While I was flickr picking last week I came across the work of Catherine Campbell aka My Folk Lover and I could feel my heart breaking. That's a good thing. Maybe it's not so much a break as a pull, a yearning, an ache for a time lost and far away. I like to be reminded of those things I long for even if it makes me a little sad that they are so far behind me. I haven't decided if My Folk Lover's girls are longing for their lost memories or if they are living them now. I tend to lean towards the former as they all carry melancholy looks upon their pretty, little faces. Take a look at these marvelous ladies:

My Folk Lover can also be found here and here and here.
