You know how I heart a good theme! Let's keep going with this clean and crisp thing we've been rockin'. It just feels so good, doesn't it? If you need a daily pick-me up or you're feeling a little bad about yourself I would recommend signing up for the wardrobe_remix flickr group. I have never had so many sweet people say so many nice things! One of the rules of the group is you can only make positive comments. There is no "You actually wore that out!!!??" comments. I love it. Of course, now I can't go to work looking like a frumpy, old lady like I usually do and I have to straight iron my bangs but it's worth it! One of my new fashionista favs is hermsprong. Not only does she have something nice to say for everyone but I am always amazed by her fantastic and witty combinations. Plus girl knows how to dress weather-appropriate!

We have a Wardrobe Remix tie today. I'm inspired by both these lovely ladies' colorful, vintage, and thrifty arrangements. I think I need a stylist because I just look like a bum when I try to pair vintage dresses with tights and leg warmers and boots and belts and sweaters and scarfs and... but these two make it work.

I first clicked on Elegant Musing's Flickr because of the dress (that she MADE). And then I was like "Look at that jewelry display!" so she gets super crafty points for that. I don't know what thrift stores this lady goes to but I need to get there!

UPDATE: Guess I'm not the only who has noticed Elegant Musing's wardrobe! Painfully Hip and I are on the same page this week.

My newest workday distraction is "wardrobe diaries". I've always found magazine fashion spreads a little intimidating and out of reach but seeing how real people work out their own styles is totally inspirational. My own pockets are keeping me from revamping my wardrobe so it's fun to get ideas for imaginary outfits through these fashionistas. My absolute favorite daily wardrobe belongs to boboniaa on flickr. She is just completely adorable all around and can make any combination work!
