Gilt was my favorite place to go for fancy things I still couldn't afford even though they're marked down, like, over 70%. And just when I thought it couldn't get any better they came up with Gilt Fuse! A shop that I can't afford just a little less! Captain says I can splurge on this cardigan (too bad only size large is left) and dress by Mara Hoffman since things have been so crappy lately. Thanks babe!*

*I typically don't ask before I spend my own money on things that I want but since all of our funds right now should be dedicated to this housing situation then I thought I would ask. I would be a little peeved if he splurged on $300 worth of records when we don't even have a bed.
Good luck with all of the housing stuff! I agree with your post on Monday - much more worth it to buy good pieces that you love than fill your house with mediocre furniture just to take up space.
