Pleet Please Me!

Usually I feel like an old lady when I pick up Nylon magazine so I don't rush to the cashier with it like I did this month when I spied this FANTASTIC spread on designer Samantha Pleet's vintage-inspired apartment in Brooklyn. (P.S. I'm only a year older than this YOUNG talented designer so I guess I'm not TOO old for Nylon!)

The article made me curious about her designs that she started making for fun in her free time during her last year at Pratt. They are equally as cute with super vintage-appeal. I'm sure my wallet wouldn't think they were so cute but I like just looking!

I love the last photo. It reminds me of the book I'm yearning for right now - Animal House by Catherine Ledner.
