I am pretty devastated that my beloved Citizen Video (the raddest independent film rental place EVER) is gone but I'm excited to see what is happening to the space now. This weekend is the grand opening of Make Good - a spot for locally handmade art, clothing, accessories, etc. - and I can't wait to check it out. Plus you'll be able to buy Citizen Video flicks for $5.

I wasn't able to fly home for Mother's Day so I had to experience the family get together through my sister's gorgeous photos. She baked these little lemon lavender bundt cakes. They are sweet perfection!

I'm sorry I haven't posted in forever. Life gets in the way of blogging sometimes. Or no life rather. I have been crazy busy working on various projects and...ya know...working. These yummy new-to-me drinks have been getting me through! I hate hate hate margarita mix yet I love margaritas. Captain found this little bit of perfection in a glass for me. I triple what the recipe says to put in there and whammo! instant relaxation remedy.
